The Lynx put on another show at Target Center, destroying the Aces in a 31-point blowout, bringing their regular season home record to 14-0.
On Friday night in downtown Minneapolis, the Minnesota Lynx put on another show for their fans in a 31-point blowout of the Las Vegas Aces.
It was a close game for the first six minutes of the game, with the Aces holding a two-point lead before the Lynx put together a 15-4 run to close the first quarter. The scoring during the run was spread out for the Lynx, with Bridget Carleton putting in a pair of 3-pointers.

The rest of the game would follow a similar pattern, the scoring would go back-and-forth for a few minutes before Minnesota would put together a large run to push their lead higher. They would end up winning each quarter by seven or more points, leading by nine after the first quarter, 15 at halftime, 24 at the end of the third quarter, and 31 at the end of the game.
The Lynx won by a final score of 109-78, a truly dominating performance over an Aces team on the second night of a back-to-back.
Napheesa Collier was brilliant yet again, leading all scorers with 25 points. She finished shooting 7-12 from the field, 1-2 from beyond the arc, and 10-13 from the free throw line while pulling down nine rebounds.

Not to be outdone, Courtney Williams played one of the best games of her season, scoring 23 points on 10-12 shooting from the field, including three 3-pointers. She also finished with a team-high five assists.
The win keeps the Target Center winning streak alive, bringing the Lynx’s regular season home record to a perfect 14-0, building on their 16-4 home record from a season ago, the best in the WNBA that season.
Target Center is a clear home court advantage for the Lynx, possibly the best in the entire sport. The Lynx have been dominating teams at home, outscoring teams by an average of 18.6 points per game. Since the beginning of June, Minnesota has won its home games by an average of 22.4 points.
