MINNEAPOLIS – Saturday will be one last comfortable day before two Next Weather Alert days in a row due to excessive and potentially record-setting heat.
Saturday will see low humidity, and typical summer temperatures in the 80s. It’ll be cooler in the eastern part of the state, and there will be a few isolated showers north of Interstate 94 near Leech Lake.
But the heat will come on Sunday and stick around through Monday. High temps will be in the 95-100 degree range, with Monday being the hotter day in the Twin Cities. Overnight temperatures will not get any cooler than the 80s, which could potentially be dangerous, especially for those who do not have air conditioning.
Feels-like temperatures on Monday will range from 100 to 108 degrees.
Temperatures will cool down Tuesday through next weekend, though it’ll still feel very summery.
