Lindenberg was selected with the 222nd overall pick
Cody Lindenberg became the third Minnesota Golden Gophers player to hear his name called in the 2025 NFL Draft when he was selected with the #222 overall pick in the 7th round by the Las Vegas Raiders.

Lindenberg will join a Raiders team that is in rebuild mode and will look to feature First round pick Ashton Jeanty in the run game. The Raiders linebacker depth is not strong, so there is no reason if Lindenberg stays healthy that he should not make the Raiders roster and slowly develop from a special teams player into playing a role on the black and silver’s defense.
