A West Lafayette native, Omonode was a consistent contributor for the Boilermakers from his freshman season onward. He played in 33 games over three seasons with Purdue and tallied a combined 32 total tackles, five tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks.
The Gophers are searching for depth behind starting defensive tackles Jalen Logan-Redding and Deven Eastern, and Omonode should help make their lives easier.
