Scouting Report
This is an interesting pick-up for Minnesota quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator Greg Harbaugh Jr., as Inferrera served as his team’s second-string quarterback as a sophomore last season and only completed 12 of 16 pass attempts for 133 passing yards and a touchdown. The starter, Dash Beierly, is headed to Washington this fall. In an interesting twist, Inferrera will be locked in a battle with Wisconsin quarterback commit Ryan Hopkins for the vacant starting signal caller spot this fall. Harbaugh observed Ferrera in person at a camp back in May and then extended a scholarship offer, so clearly he liked what he saw.
