1000% committed
It was another recruiting bonanza for the Minnesota Golden Gophers over the weekend, as head coach P.J. Fleck and co. received five new verbal commitments.
The fourth to grab an oar was Missouri tight end Gabe Weaver.

Scouting Report
Weaver is a multi-sport athlete who competes in football, basketball, and track and field. He hauled in 40 receptions for 670 receiving yards and seven touchdowns last season. Weaver has good athleticism for his size. What makes him formidable as a pass catcher is his length, his large catch radius, and his ability to make plays down the field and in contested situations. Weaver is a matchup nightmare at the high school level, but as we all know, the Gophers ask more of their tight ends than catching passes. He’ll need to get more reps lined up on the line of scrimmage with his hand in the dirt and show he has the physicality to be an effective blocker.
