Tiny Nick’s Gambling Picks 06/15

June 16, 2025 by Zone Coverage

Locks

MLB (0.5 Unit) Ian Happ Over 1.5 Total Bases (+135; Odds via DraftKings): 1:20 PM CT on Marquee

Happ has been quiet in this series against Pittsburgh, so it’s time to wake up and today is a great opportunity to do just that. He has seen Pirates starter Mitch Keller a lot, and it’s mostly been a one-sided affair as he has a career .407 average and 1.367 OPS against him, with three doubles and three homers. Happ is a switch hitter who can take advantage of Keller’s struggles against lefthanded bats, and he often leads off which gives him the most opportunities to rack up stats, and I think he does today.

WNBA (0.5 Unit) Washington Mystics Team Total Over 76.5 (-110; Odds via Caesars): 1:00 PM CT on CBSSN

I think there’s value here with Washington as a moderate underdog, pushing their team total down to a level they’ve been very successful in reaching. Especially at home, where the only time they didn’t clear this team total easily was when the Liberty brought the league’s best defense to town. While Atlanta is a solid defensive squad, they do allow a relatively high shooting percentage, and the Mystics have been an excellent shooting team. Washinton already put 94 on the Dream in the season opener, and seem to have found their high level offense by hanging 104 in their last game, so this total that seems like a discount should get cleared.

Degenerates

No degenerates today.
