MLB (1 Unit) Colorado Rockies @ Houston Astros -1.5 (+110; Odds via DraftKings): 3:10 PM CT on SportsNet SW
I think Houston is finally starting to click with Jose Altuve returning and Jose Abreu waking up. They’re still a little under the radar though due to a sluggish start and the competitiveness of their division, so the result is juicy numbers like this one as the market is yet to come around on them. But the Astros should roll here thanks to Colorado being in a tough spot with a bad pitcher.
The Rockies will send Kyle Freeland to the mound, and he’s the rare Rockies starter who has worse numbers outside of Coors Field. The lefty owns a 5.92 ERA and a .295 on-base average allowed in road games this year, and the results for his team have been brutal. The Rockies have lost 6 straight Freeland starts on the road, the past 5 by multiple runs. That’s typical of Colorado though, who has the 3rd-worst run line record and average margin on the road, so I’m seeing another lopsided loss for them here.
