If you absolutely, positively, must have action on this joke of a football game, then I would say take the under. It’s been steaming down all summer from the open of 33.5, but with good reason. As this glorified scrimmage gives both the Jaguars and Raiders a fourth preseason game, neither team is going to risk an injury to starters.
That means no Derek Carr or Trevor Lawrence at quarterback, and likely most of the game being played out by 3rd-string or worse quarterbacks. I can’t imagine either team putting out more than the most vanilla of offensive schemes with benchwarmer QBs, so this could be a run the ball and drain the clock game.
That’s mostly been the case in recent years, as the HOF Game is 6-3 under this total since 2010, with 28.3 points on average. So if the degenerate in you craves the feeling of a football bet, I’d say under is the most reasonable option here.
