Aside from Dean Wade going nuts in the fourth quarter against the Celtics I think that first quarter was the best the #Cavs offense has looked since Donovan Mitchell exited the lineup. – 8:03 PM

Cavs F Dean Wade remains out tonight vs. Suns for “personal reasons.” Starters Donovan Mitchell (knee), Evan Mobley (ankle) and Max Strus (knee) are also out, along with Ty Jerome (ankle) and Tristan Thompson (suspended), – 5:24 PM

#Cavs star Donovan Mitchell is unlikely to play tomorrow night against the Suns. But he keeps making progress, his recent reevaluation went well and he has resumed on-court activities. There’s hope he *could* be back during the upcoming road trip.

Cleveland is playing the first game of a back-to-back today against the Nets without Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, Max Strus and Dean Wade.
Mitchell and Mobley still on the road back. TBD on Strus and Wade.
Big opportunity tomorrow for the Suns with their brutal schedule. – 5:38 PM

Cavs have six players out for tonight’s game against the Nets, including F Dean Wade for personal reasons. Others sidelined are Ty Jerome (ankle), Donovan Mitchell (knee), Evan Mobley (ankle), Max Strus (knee) and Tristan Thompson (suspended). – 4:56 PM

More on this storyline

Chris Fedor: #Cavs Evan Mobley is out of his walking boot. Team will leave for their three-game road trip tomorrow. But a source said the belief is Mobley’s return is further away than Donovan Mitchell. -via Twitter @ChrisFedor / March 12, 2024
Danny Cunningham: #Cavs have ruled out Donovan Mitchell tonight. Mitchell now can play a maximum of 64 games, meaning he’s ineligible to be voted as an All-NBA player. Quite a shame. He’s had an incredible year and it won’t be recognized appropriately. -via Twitter @RealDCunningham / March 11, 2024
Gerald Bourguet: No Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, Max Strus or Dean Wade for the Cavs tonight. Huge opportunity for the Suns to pick up a win on the road, with 2 days in between their next big matchup in Boston -via Twitter @GeraldBourguet / March 11, 2024
