The Tennessee Titans did everything they could to make Sunday a tough day for the Minnesota Vikings, but they couldn’t get out of their own way. Penalties on their side dominated, and the Vikings’ defense, while it allowed some splash plays, did not let them build any sort of momentum.
Brian Callahan and the Titans are building a competitive team, them being 2-8 is not indicative of their talent. Rather, the Vikings showed they could withstand pressure from a team with nothing to lose. Darnold made some mistakes but made more plays and as a result they were able to put up enough points to give the defense more flexibility.
