Here’s how you can keep up with the action

The long, dark tea time of the bye week is over, folks, and for the first time in nearly a month the Minnesota Vikings will take to the turf at U.S. Bank Stadium as they host the Detroit Lions in Week 7 NFL action. We want everyone to be able to follow along with all of today’s happenings, so here’s how you can do so wherever you might be.

Television Info

Kickoff for this one is scheduled for noon Central time on this Sunday. The broadcast will be handled by FOX affiliates around the country, including KMSP-9 in the Twin Cities area. The call in the booth will be handled by Adam Amin and Greg Olsen. If you’re wondering whether or not you’re in the broadcast area for this one, here’s the map from the fine folks at 506 Sports. The Lions/Vikings game is represented by the red area on the map.

If you’re outside of that area, you’ll be able to find the game on YouTube TV NFL Sunday Ticket.

For our men and women in uniform serving overseas, this one will be shown LIVE on the American Forces Network on AFN Sports. Kickoff time is set for 1700Z, which equates to 1900L for everyone in Central Europe, 2000L for those on Arabian Time, and 0200L on Monday morning for fans in Japan and Korea.

Radio Info

If you have a Vikings Radio Network affiliate in your area, most of them will probably be carrying the game. We’ve provided you with the full list of affiliates for this season, so use our page to find the affiliate nearest to you.

For those of you who are going to use satellite radio to listen to this one, you can find the feed from the Vikings Radio Network on SiriusXM Channel 229. You can listen to the Jets feed on Channel 381 if you feel compelled to do so for whatever reason. If you’re using the SiriusXM app, the Vikings’ permanent home there is on Channel 820.

Referee Info

The folks over at Football Zebras inform us that the officiating crew for today’s game will be led by Clay Martin. The last time the Vikings saw Clark’s crew was not great for them, as his crew handled the team’s 33-10 loss on New Year’s Eve.

Weather Info

With this one being played in the friendly confines of U.S. Bank Stadium, the elements won’t have any effect on the action. If you’re planning on partaking in any pre-game activities, it looks to be a pretty perfect day for it according to our friends at WeatherNation. Temperatures will reach the low 70s by kickoff with winds out of the southwest at around ten miles an hour and no chance of precipitation

Betting Info

The line has held pretty steady for this one, with the Vikings remaining a 1.5-point favorite according to FanDuel. The over/under for this one is sitting at a pretty lofty 50.5 points.

Streaming Info

If you have the NFL+ app, you can stream this game there. It appears that NFL dot com might have some sort of stream working as well, but you’ll have to check that. If you’re in the local area and have cut the cord, you should be able to find it on a service such as Fubo TV or Sling TV. They’ll have the NFL Network on them if you have the right package.

I’ll say the same thing about illegal streams that I always say: don’t. Or damn sure don’t go advertising them here. You’ll be banned and that will be the end of it.

Post-Game Info

As we usually do, we will be back with a LIVE post-game show after this one from Vikings Report with Drew and Ted. We’ll have a separate post for the game, or you can head over to the Vikings Report YouTube page and catch the show there.

That should be everything you need in order to follow along with all of the action of today’s International Series contest between the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Jets. As always, we’ll have Open Threads for each quarter, with the first one dropping approximately half an hour before kickoff at around 11:30 AM Central time. We hope you’ll join us for all the action!
