An Achilles tendon injury has forced Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins onto the operating table. Today he revealed that the surgery was a success and had a message for his fans.
Taking to X this morning, Cousins thanked the doctor and the medical team for their hard work. He also appreciated the prayers and support for the fans.
As for his current plans for a return, all he would say is “One day at a time.”
“Surgery was a success! Grateful for your prayers, Dr. Coetzee’s abilities, and our medical team. Would appreciate continued prayers! One day at a time…” Cousins wrote.
Cousins’ message already has over 2,500 likes and several hundred comments in just over five minutes. Fans are eager to see him return:

Kirk Cousins’ future with the Vikings is now a bit of a mystery while the Vikings will likely be moving forward with rookie Jaren Hall as their new starter for the foreseeable future.
