Kirk Cousins is looking pretty good going to into free agency after 2023’s season-ending Achilles tear.
On Monday, the veteran QB shared a pair of videos to his social media accounts as he continues his rehab process. Tweeting, “Almost 4 months in now…encouraged by the progress! Grateful tor all the help around us.”

It’s great to see Cousins able to drop-back and throw passes looking as close to fully healthy as one could hope given his timeline. That hasn’t stopped the Vikings from taking their time to decide whether or not they want to bring the four-time Pro Bowler back though.
This week’s Combine should give Kirk and his camp a better idea of what his market value will be as we barrel towards the NFL Draft.
2024’s class of quarterbacks is expected to be a very good one but there are plenty of teams that could move in and nab a reliable starter like Cousins if they feel like they’re a borderline playoff team or expect to be competitive next season.
At 35-years-old, Cousins appears to still have a good amount of football left in him; you just hope the injury doesn’t have a large lingering effect for guys like he and Aaron Rodgers.
