It’s a two-score lead for the good guys
You know what time it is, folks. . .time to raise those four fingers way up above your head, because we’re heading to the final quarter of play at Paycor Stadium with your Minnesota Vikings ahead of the Cincinnati Bengals by a score of 17-3.
The Vikings got the ball to start the second half after deferring on the opening coin toss and, much like their first possession of the first half, they found their way into the end zone for a touchdown. Nick Mullens connected with Jordan Addison for a 37-yard score on a play that Mullens was nearly sacked on, and the Vikings increased their lead to 14-3 a little more than four minutes into the second half.

The Vikings’ defense then stepped up on the next Bengals’ possession, as Jake Brownings pass was intercepted by Akayleb Evans for his first ever NFL interception and the Vikings took over at midfield.

The Vikings turned the interception into more points, as Greg Joseph connected on a 39-yard field goal to increase the lead to 17-3 with four and a half minutes left in the quarter.
The Bengals have put together a drive of their own, and as we move to the fourth quarter the Bengals are looking at a 1st-and-10 from the Minnesota 13-yard line.
Three quarters in the books from Cincinnati and the Vikings have a 17-3 lead over the Bengals. Can the purple hold on and get their eighth win on the season? Join us for the final quarter and find out!
