The good guys have the early lead
The first fifteen minutes of this matchup from Lumen Field are in the books, and your Minnesota Vikings lead the Seattle Seahawks by a score of 7-0.
The Vikings took the football first in this one as Seattle won the toss and deferred to the second half. The Vikings took the ball and moved quickly down the field, getting a big fourth down conversion on a pass from Sam Darnold to T.J. Hockenson to keep the drive alive in Seattle territory, and a pass to Jordan Addison put the Vikings into the red zone. After a pass to Justin Jefferson set the Vikings up with goal-to-go, Darnold and Addison connected again for a five-yard touchdown pass to make it 7-0 midway through the first quarter.

Seattle went three-and-out on their opening possession, with the Michael Dickson punt putting the Vikings inside their own 10-yard line. They managed to pick up some yardage but eventually punted it away, and Ryan Wright flipped the field by putting the Seahawks down at their own 12-yard line.
The Seahawks have put together a solid drive, however, and as we move to the second quarter they’re looking at a 1st-and-10 from the Minnesota 45-yard line.
We’ve made it through the first fifteen minutes of this Week 16 matchup, and the Minnesota Vikings lead the Seattle Seahawks by a score of 7-0. Come in and join us for the second quarter of play from Seattle!
