Three Keys
1) Be prepared for the weather – According to today’s weather forecast, it’s supposed to be a wet one in Seattle today. We’ve seen the Vikings have some issues in the past with slipping around on a wet surface, so hopefully the equipment folks have everything in order for the Vikings to have to deal with the conditions in this one. I have a feeling they will.
2) Get after Geno Smith – Smith missed the final portions of Seattle’s loss against Green Bay with a knee injury, and though he didn’t have an injury designation this week and practiced in full, he could still be dealing with the lingering effects of that. Smith is mobile but not a real dual-threat quarterback, and if the Vikings can get to him early and often it could force him into mistakes.
3) Don’t look ahead – The Vikings have two big divisional matchups to finish their season, but they have to get through this one first. This is a game the Vikings should win, but they can’t overlook a Seattle team that’s in a fight for its postseason life in this one. If the Vikings keep themselves grounded, they should be able to handle their business this afternoon.

That should be everything you need to be up to speed on this one, folks. Remember that a new Open Thread starts at the beginning of each quarter, so keep your eyes open for those and move the discussion along accordingly.
Here’s hoping that after this one, we can all get ready for supper knowing that the Vikings have kept themselves alive in the race for the NFC North and the top seed in the conference in this year’s playoffs.
SKOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL VIKINGS!!!!
