The good guys lead by 13

I’m going to need all of you out there to get your fours up, because we’re heading to the final fifteen minutes at Nissan Stadium with the Minnesota Vikings leading the Tennessee Titans by a score of 23-10.

The Vikings got the ball to start the second half and wound up doing something they didn’t do the entire first half: punting it away. They went three-and-out to give the ball back to the Titans in short order. The Titans then responded with a three-and-out of their own to give the ball back to the Minnesota offense.

Minnesota punted the ball away on their next possession and Trent Sherfield made an outstanding play to down the ball at the 2-yard line. Unfortunately, that just meant that Will Levis had an opportunity to find Nick Westbrook-Ikhine on third down for a 98-yard touchdown pass to get the Titans right back into this one by a score of 16-10 after the long touchdown.

The Vikings, to their credit, answered right back on their next drive with another touchdown pass from Sam Darnold, this one a 3-yarder to Cam Akers to put the Vikings back on top by 13 at 23-10.

It looked like the Titans had gotten another long touchdown pass from Levis to Calvin Ridley, but it was taken off the board by an illegal formation penalty on the Titans. As we move to the fourth quarter, the Titans are looking at a 1st-and-10 from the Minnesota 23-yard line after another long pass given up.

Fifteen minutes to go from Nashville, folks, and the Vikings lead the Titans by a score of 23-10. Can they hang on and move to 8-2 on the season? Come join us for the fourth quarter and find out!
