Guess what day it is!
Happy hump day, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to your new Open Thread on your favorite Minnesota Vikings website! Yesterday was a bit of a light day because yours truly had some stuff going on, but hopefully today will bring some more news.
Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .
- The Real Forno Show got into the controversy. . .such as it is. . .of the Vikings asking fans not to take video of Training Camp practices.
- Irv Smith Jr. is out for the rest of the preseason after thumb surgery, but the team is hopeful that he’ll be back for the season opener. So is everyone else, I think.
- Warren has a look at what the construction of the Vikings’ roster as it stands right now says about the previous regime.
Yeah. . .bit edgier than yesterday’s selection.
Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
- No discussion of politics or religion
- No feeding of the trolls
- Leave the gender hatred at the door
- Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
- Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
- No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
