Weekend Eve Open Thread
Good Morning!
Big thanks to Gone Fishin for posting the thread for me yesterday, I drove up to Georgia to put a couple of stands up, clear some land and cut some trees. Big shoutout to Kubota, Polaris and whoever made that chainsaw I was using. We worked about five hours but got everything done we could for now. I’ll probably make another trip up again next month before the season starts and when it’s not so damn hot. I posted pictures yesterday on the first open thread of the lane we cleared and one of the tower blinds we put up if you’re interested.
I did see camp coverage yesterday by the local and national media, from reports KJ Osborn is pushing hard for a roster spot as a WR with Westbrook being eased into the offense, Kellen Mond looks like a rookie, Uli Odoh is making noise at RG over everyone’s favorite player to dunk on, and we still don’t know who will be kicking FG’s yet really.
Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links open thread full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s weekend eve, time to plan the beer and meat menu for the weekend and get the smoker fired up.
