The wildfires continue to grow, and new fires have even started to pop up despite the break that first responders and firefighters got with low winds on Thursday.
While state officials and other agencies monitor the fire for their job, the NFL is doing its part to ensure its players, fans, officials, and stadium workers are safe. That means moving Monday’s Wild Card matchup between the Rams and Vikings from Los Angeles to Glendale, Arizona.
The league made the announcement on Thursday night.

The game will continue to be broadcast on ESPN, ABC, and ESPN+ at its original scheduled time of 8:00 P.M. EST/7:00 P.M. CST. Ticket information can be found in the league’s statement above.
The situation took another step towards this move when smoke could be seen from the Rams facility towards the end of their practice on Thursday.
