The next big event is coming
Since we didn’t touch on it when it was announced during the 2025 NFL Draft, we will take a moment to talk about the fact that the National Football League already has its next important event planned out for fans of the Minnesota Vikings (and fans of the 31 lesser teams).
The league has announced that the 2025 regular season schedule will be announced to the world on 14 May, two weeks from Wednesday.
We’ve known the “who” and the “where” of who all the teams around the league will play since the day the regular season ended. Now, we’re finally on the verge of getting the “when.”
As we’ve seen over the past few years, the league tends to announce some of the “special” games, such as overseas games and games on holidays, ahead of the rest of the schedule. The Vikings have road games scheduled against three teams who will be “hosting” games overseas this year: the Los Angeles Chargers (Rio de Janeiro), the Pittsburgh Steelers (Dublin), and the Cleveland Browns (London). So, if the Vikings are on the docket to play overseas for what would be the second consecutive year, we will likely learn about that before the rest of the schedule is released.
When the schedule comes out, we’ll have it here for you straight away.
In the meantime, are you planning on hitting up any games this season, whether they’re at U.S. Bank Stadium or in hostile territory somewhere?
