NFL fans can’t question the toughness of Kirk Cousins, that’s for sure.
Cousins is a few months removed from undergoing surgery on his torn Achilles. On Thursday’s episode of “The Pat McAfee Show,” he revealed just how nasty his scar is.
“I have a nice little scar. I’m making sure it heals up clean so if I ever want to be a foot and ankle model, I can still do that,” Cousins said. “This is probably the only interview I’ll ever do where we get a close up of the scar.”
Pat McAfee couldn’t believe how serious Cousins’ post-surgery scar is even at this stage in his recovery process.

Later in the interview, Cousins discussed his future with the Vikings. He’s set to be a free agent this offseason.
Cousins would “love” returning to Minnesota, but he acknowledged that it’s too early to speculate about his future.
“Honestly, I’d love to be back in Minnesota. But even Minnesota, those conversations don’t start yet. It’s more late February, early March,” Cousins said. “Until we can get to March 1 maybe, maybe a little after that, you just don’t really expect much.”
Cousins was playing at an MVP level prior to his Achilles injury, completing 69.5 percent of his passes for 2,331 yards with 18 touchdowns and five interceptions.
