The Vikings have had some luck finding diamonds who go undrafted by the NFL. Last year, it was Ivan Pace Jr., and this year, it could be Jeshaun Jones. The speedy wide receiver who went undrafted out of Maryland is now making some waves in the Vikings training camp.
Jeshaun Jones had a productive career at Maryland catching 153 passes for 2,051 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. While no one on the Vikings is expecting him to be productive off the bat, he has shown he can be explosive within the offense early on in camp.
Alec Lewis of The Athletic named Jones in his recent stock watch article on the team. In it, Lewis describes Jones as “a name to keep an eye on.” The Vikings social media team has done a good job of that themselves and have been sharing his plays on their channels.

While the WR3 spot is all but locked up by Jalen Nailor, Jones could be a fun play for certain packages or perhaps even kick returns. Kevin O’Connell has no problem adding some wrinkles to playcalling when a dynamic playmaker presents himself, that fits the billing for Jeshaun Jones.
