We open up NHL predictions with the New York Islanders visiting the Florida Panthers. New York is projected to go with David Rittich in goal for this game. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Isles are 6-3-1 entering this matchup, and got a win over the Colorado Avalanche in their last outing. Bo Horvat is first on the team in goals (17) and points (29).

The defending champions are expected to go with Danil Tarasov in goal. Florida is 4-5-1 in the last 10 games, but did manage to stop a four-game losing streak with an overtime win over the Columbus Blue Jackets. Brad Marchand is leading the Panthers in goals (16), assists (15), and points (31) so far this campaign.

The Islanders are coming into this game with plenty of confidence. However, the Panthers will get the home win.

Prediction: Panthers win 4-3.
